1. Through a package manager (unavailable on bazzite)
2. Through a flatpak (cross platform, but limited permissions, similar to an android apk)
3. .appimage files (think it's pretty much a Linux .exe file? it's not very popular)
@PSYCHOV3N0M@iamdazoom @PeterGAraujo @kmcnam1 A lot of modern distributions use KDE Plasma, which is pretty much the Linux version of the Windows visuals. I'm on bazzite right now and while it is pretty neat, I recommend just getting Ubuntu with kde plasma. It's a pretty shallow learning curve. 1/?
