@booksoftitans Maybe read less … focused? My feeling has always been that a part of the pleasure of reading the canon works is to read, alongside them, current and later works. You see how the larger conversation goes on. How, say, Knausgaard and Woolf talk to Shakespeare, Dante, Euripides.
