@RiseofBurnol No. There is no reasonable guarantee that the actress playing our Mata will not trot around in bikini anytime soon. That the actor playing Prabhu Sri Ram will not smoke and do other things in Animal 2.
Its a ploy to erode spirituality out of sacred hindu texts. stay away
Her father, like Srikant Tiwari in "The Family Man S2", risked his life to save her from terrorists — yet she shows zero respect.
Peak radical feminism: entitlement over gratitude.
Indian men build homes with blood and sweat but never say “This is ONLY my house.” It’s always OUR home. The contrast is clear.
@greatbong@vinayak214 the first dialogue might be: mera naam hai jhink,
hair hai mera pink,
saare mard mere dushman hain mera group think,
sab jagah chaddi mein ghumu hai mera kink
chuna na mujhe coz patriarchy i think
@kushal_mehra amazon and google code is literally written and maintained by 10s of thousands of Indians. Fucking imbeciles who think it cant be done by Indians
Canada has long been known as a land of immigrants and opportunity. However, many are left wondering:
what broke Canada?
Here is a real story shared by a close friend.
My friend landed in Canada in 2015 and was offered free English coaching as part of his early settlement assistance in Saskatchewan. He joined these English lessons and noticed that he had several classmates from the African continent. Surprisingly, these classmates had been stuck at the exact same English proficiency level for three to four years. This was shocking to my friend because it was a very basic, introductory level that could easily be cleared within three months.
After befriending most of them, my friend figured out the truth. These individuals had actually been living in Canada for seven to eight years and were still studying at the exact same college. Furthermore, none of them had applied for Canadian citizenship; they all remained permanent residents.
The Loophole
The reason was simple, if you become a Canadian citizen, you no longer qualify for free language schooling. These free English programs are a benefit reserved strictly for permanent residents.
Because they shared a similar religious background, many of these families had between four and eight children. Additionally, their cultural or religious beliefs did not permit the women to work outside the home. Since the men were perpetually "in school," these families were able to claim every single government benefit available to them. They received money for:
Food and groceries
Rent assistance
Unemployment benefits
Child tax benefits
Meanwhile, our own elderly population has to keep working well past the age of 65 simply because they cannot afford to retire.
This is what broke Canada: weak government policies exploited by strong personal interests.
No third world nations sports fans do not do this. You can keep your first world behavioural patterns to yourself. India won the Cricket world Cup back to back. Not a peep of an incident. And India is way more populated. Indian authorities are far better at giant crowd management.
His name is Ranjitsinh Disale.
He wanted to be an engineer. When that did not work out, his father suggested he train as a teacher instead.
In 2009, he was posted to a government primary school in Paritewadi, a small village in Solapur district, Maharashtra. The school was a crumbling building wedged between two storerooms, one of which had been used as a cattle shed.
What he found there troubled him.
Girls were being married off young instead of being sent to class. Attendance was poor. The textbooks were written in a language many of the children, who spoke Kannada at home, could not properly read.
He decided to fix all of it, starting with the books.
He learned the children’s mother tongue and rewrote their textbooks in a language they could actually understand.
Then he did something no one in India was doing at the time.
He printed unique QR codes inside the textbooks, allowing students with access to a phone to scan a page and instantly access audio poems, video lessons and practice questions.
A village school in Solapur had built a digital classroom out of paper and printed squares.
The results changed the village.
Girls’ attendance reached nearly one hundred percent. Teenage marriages in the area stopped. His QR code idea worked so well that the Maharashtra government adopted it across the state.
The following year, the national education body embedded QR codes in textbooks across the country.
In 2020, Ranjitsinh Disale won the Global Teacher Prize. He was chosen from more than twelve thousand nominations across roughly one hundred and forty countries and was the only Indian in the top ten.
The award carried one million dollars, around seven crore rupees.
Then he did something no winner had ever done before.
He announced that he would give away half the prize money, dividing it equally among the other nine finalists so that their work could continue as well.
He said teachers are the real change makers.
He meant all of them, not just himself.
A man who became a teacher only because engineering did not work out changed how an entire country learns, and then gave half his fortune to the people he had competed against.
Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

A DEVELOPER PROVED THAT MOST OF THE LANGUAGE RUNNING EVERY WEBSITE YOU USE IS A MINEFIELD AND THAT ALMOST NO ONE WAS EVER TAUGHT WHICH PARTS ARE SAFE
An hour from Douglas Crockford, the man who invented JSON, on the good parts of JavaScript buried under a pile of blunders nobody warned you about.
-> The moment it lands, every weird bug makes sense. The language never had time to be polished. It went global in months, bad parts and all, and you inherited every one of them.
Global variables. Silent semicolon insertion. eval. Coercion that turns a simple comparison into a coin flip. Most people never learned to avoid them -- they just lose hours and blame themselves.
Writing JavaScript that runs was never the skill -> knowing which half of it to never touch is. And when an AI agent happily generates the bad parts at scale, the person who knows the safe subset is the one who catches it before it ships.
Everyone writes JavaScript. Almost no one was shown the line between the parts that save you and the parts that quietly burn you.
