It’s been a tough year for artists and founders across the board. When things start going downhill, it’s easy for people to look for someone to blame.

I’ve been working on Ponke for over a year now thousands of hours spent creating content and illustrations, trying to grow the IP and the brand.

I’ve done it because I genuinely love the community, the IP, and what Ponke represents. It holds a special place in my heart. It helped spark the art meta in the Solana memecoin trenches, and I’m proud of that.

Seeing the price go down hurts of course it does but that’s not something I have control over.

My vision has always been simple: keep showing up and bringing cool ideas to life. In a space that often feels soulless, people are quick to discard you the moment you’re no longer useful to them.

Everyone who was once part of Ponke left a long time ago. I’m literally the last one still here, still showing up, still trying to push this forward. It’s hard and some days, I honestly feel like giving up.

This isn’t a post for pity. I just wanted to get this off my chest, especially with the expectations that have been placed on me lately.
