First weather delay at the FIFA World Cup as France vs Iraq is delayed due to 'lightning activity' in the Philadelphia area.

The dangerous weather provision mandates a 30-minute delay to proceedings, meaning the halftime break will be extended by a further 15 minutes before a restart.

The delay could be extended by a further 30 minutes in the event of another lightning strike within an 8-mile radius of the stadium.
