So I'm there, guy in my face, and security isn't doing a damn thing, nor are they even there to capture whatever happens on their bodycam.

I have no idea how I managed to de-escalate that. I felt like I was about half a second from an assault.

Be at work. Aggressive customer comes in, talking to himself, saying to nobody in particular that he'll kill them. Tried to use a gift card with an invalid number, starts on a rant about his millions of dollars and platinum rewards. A staff member calls security...
