The middle 1/3rd of my life was spent recovering from the first 1/3rd.
This last 1/3rd has been reflecting on a time where I gave every waking moment figuring out and acting in line with my real place in the universe.
Then, I stopped.
I tried living, behaving, thinking, feeling what our culture suggests is normal, but money, influence, status has never given me happiness.
I've so rarely given myself what I actually need to breathe: Real trust and faith in myself, my abilities, my direction - to believe that I could really become the person my role models suggested (and still would) i've every chance to be; letting all the rest happen the way its going to.
I gave up the real source of my strength and drive by stopping.
I've hurt people I loved because I lost the will to make hard decisions even if making them was also progress reclaiming the person i'm meant to be.
That isn't me.
That can't be me.
It won't be me.
I am not meant to live just for comfort or stability.
I'm meant to carry the fire.
