@TechPurdue is organizing a treasure hunt on Purdue West Lafayette Campus. For the hunt, they are manufacturing various Purdue bell tower clocks which are currently being engraved on an acrylic sheet using a @TrotecUSA speedy 400 laser

Last week the center had the pleasure to welcome @Haas_Automation to the Gene Haas Manufacturing Lab. The center has been equipped with various high-tech CNC machines. Students use these machines to manufacture a wide variety of projects. All thanks to GENE HAAS FOUNDATION!!

Using a Manual milling machine to do facing operations on the aluminum block in order to make the block CNC ready. Later CNC machining will be done on this block to manufacture a wheel hub for Purdue electric racing vehicles.

Using the 5-axis CNC machine in Gene Haas Manufacturing Lab. Here you can see the application of the 4th and 5th axis of the CNC machining. These operations are performed by the application of dovetail clamping provided by Raptor Work holding.
