if you read through the whole interview, you’ll know that hj talks about feeling lost musically at the beginning of the year, and how writing ‘enough’ was like a love letter to himself after feeling lacking almost his whole life— he’s finally slowing down to look around him and see that he already has and he’s already been enough, and those are words he wants to convey to people feeling the same way too ❤️‍🩹

then he goes on to say how the song could be interpreted as a love song, and he doesn’t mind because it is! it’s a love song to himself, to his craft, to ateez, to atiny, to a girl, or to another person. ‘enough’ isn’t about any specific person or thing, but that’s the whole message of his song— that the things and people we already have around us, our love for them and the love we receive back, is already more than enough 🫳🏼
