I've been saying this for a while but in Jan I'd be aiming for mostly loans of players desperate to impress and get more minutes ahead of the World Cup.

Then have a manager lined up by May who can buy the players he needs in the summer. Let's just get through the season.

I'm happy to take Kyogo back on loan. With O'Neill back till the end of the season it makes sense to get players in short term and then let the new manager buy in the summer.

We need two 2x right wingers in though. Then when Jota is back Maeda can play centrally with service.

Delighted to see Rodgers gone. He had clearly lost the dressing room. The squad is threadbare after that transfer window and all the injuries, but hopefully O'Neill can get more out of what is available.

Got it all wrong. Murray didn't have the experience to start that. Trusty should have played. Donovan, while better than Ralston is still a passenger and Kenny offers absolutely nothing.

Limited options, but Rodgers is making constant wrong decisions. 🍀

Lessons need to be learned after this. Donovan may be our best available RB, but he's not good enough. Saracchi LB, Tierney RB till Johnston is back.

Kenny is never a striker. Either try Shin (who doesn't look much better) or try Osmond. 🍀
