Break-up is one of the most painful things in the world and nobody wishes for it in their life, but couples still end up parting ways when things simply do not work out. The toughest phase comes right after when people miss their partner, dwell on old memories, and deal with anxiety, insomnia, stress, and bad habits.
For instance, boys often get addicted to alcohol, which is completely the wrong path. Instead, they should focus on meditation and hitting the gym, because these habits genuinely help you get proper sleep and beat stress.
On the other hand, girls deal with it differently. Sometimes they fall into the trap of doing things purely because their ex disliked them, or they end up searching for desperate coping mechanisms. I know a girl who went through a situation that became so worse for her. She needed someone every single day just to give her emotional support. She started randomly messaging boys on social media to convince them to meet her for emotional backing, and even asked all her friends to help her find people who could support her. Without that emotional crutch, she couldn't even sleep at night.
I know these things might look weird and surprising to read, but it is actually very normal for someone whether a boy or a girl who is suffering through such a painful phase in life.
I always welcome anyone if they need a safe space for emotional support, because this page is dedicated entirely to that.
Yesterday, I shared a post about a woman whose husband fulfilled her special wish on their wedding anniversary. You can check out that post for context. But today, when I opened Instagram, I came across several accounts where similar things were happening.
Honestly, I was quite shocked. How is this becoming a reality in India? It seems like people are becoming more open-minded and adapting to Western culture. In Western culture, husbands and wives often give each other full freedom unlike traditional setups in India.
I genuinely don't know whether this shift is good or bad, but when I see these couples, they look so happy and excited about having this kind of freedom in their relationship.
Sometimes, I even receive messages from couples who want my advice on how to navigate this. Since I don't have deep enough knowledge about it, I politely deny them. When I do, they often ask if I can recommend someone else who can help them understand everything and guide them on the same path.
I always decline because of my insufficient knowledge, but I completely respect everyone's personal decisions. In their own space, they are doing what works best for them.
When you see couples embracing this modern lifestyle, what do you think? Is it a positive change? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below
