It feels like a bittersweet way to wrap up fourteen years of the Festival, but the nomination is also a well-deserved recognition of the work and passion our organizers and volunteers have put into the festival over the years. I'm proud of what we accomplished. (Brent)

We can officially announce it, but Pure Speculation is on this year's ballot for the Aurora Awards, a Canadian award for SF literature, under Best Fan Organizational. We'll post details soon as to where and how you can vote, but thank you for the nomination. (Brent)
