Listening beyond the obvious!

In Kilampobile, we conducted a simple ball activity to promote meaningful conversations and inclusive participation.

As the ball passed from one person to another, every participant had the chance to share their experiences and viewpoints on the challenges impacting children's education.

We listened carefully, asked questions, and sought to understand more deeply.

Understanding the challenges that affect children's education begins with listening.

During our recent visit to Kilampobile, a community situated in the Bole district of the Savannah region of Ghana, the PureTrust Foundation gathered teachers, school administrators, community leaders, young people, students, and women's groups to discuss these challenges and identify their underlying causes.

We participated in the 3-day “Africa at the Centre” event organized by @wacsi , focusing on
African ownership, local power, available resources, and development driven by communities.

The discussions highlighted the importance of placing communities at the core of decisions that influence
their future.

We departed feeling motivated, united, and prepared to transform ideas into real-world actions.
