@sarahadams@ElissaSlotkin Swamp at its best.
I grew up in communism and I can smell them from miles away. Unfortunately they are everywhere and growing like weed. Majority of people in US are blind to what is happening.
@DHSgov 17 straight months with zero Border Patrol releases. Southwest border apprehensions down 95% from the prior administration's average. A border can be secured when leaders actually want it secured. As a Croatian American I say: legal immigration, yes. Open borders, never. ๐บ๐ธ
Zagreb is now testing what its makers call Europe's first fully driverless robotaxi rides, with nobody in the driver's seat. Austin has Tesla robotaxis, Zagreb has Verne. Two of my favorite places building the future ๐ญ๐ท๐บ๐ธ
@AmadeusBolshev True, Gagarin was a real achievement. The same state starved millions of Ukrainians in the 1932โ33 Holodomor, ran the Gulag, and backed a wall to stop East Germans from fleeing. 12 Americans later walked on the Moon. Zero Soviets did. Freedom wins the long race ๐บ๐ธ
@Jane_Doe82 The worst? Around 800,000 people go through the long legal process to become US citizens every year, and millions more wait in line for the chance. People don't line up for the worst. Still the country the world dreams of ๐บ๐ธ

@mahobili This "dumb" country put 12 people on the Moon, has won more Nobel Prizes than any other nation, and just made a car hover in Texas. Come visit, we'll show you around ๐บ๐ธ๐
Happy Cravat Day! ๐ญ๐ท๐ Every necktie in the world goes back to Croatian soldiers in 17th-century France. The French loved their neckcloths so much they named them "cravate", from "Hrvat". So next time you tie one, thank a Croat. From Zagreb to Austin ๐บ๐ธ
@ultras_antifaa Venezuela tried it. GDP fell roughly 75% from 2013 to 2021 (IMF) and nearly 8 million people fled (UN R4V). Croatians lived it too: the Goli Otok prison camp for dissenters, and Yugoslav inflation over 1,000% by 1989. Long live freedom instead ๐ญ๐ท๐บ๐ธ
