I commend the Adhyayan Foundation for creating a platform where tradition meets thought, and culture meets creativity.”
Dr. @sambitswaraj, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, added, “A Viksit Bharat must stand on the strong pillars of its cultural and literary heritage. Let the sacred soil of Puri inspire a new generation of writers to script stories that echo our identity, values, and timeless spirit.”

The Puri Literary Festival Book of the Year Award in the Non-fiction Category was conferred upon the book, Being Hindu In Bangladesh by Mr. Deep Halder & Mr. Avishek Biswas.
As Mr. Halder was unable to attend the Valedictory Ceremony in person due to unforeseen circumstances, our colleague Mr. Falit accepted the award on his behalf from Prof. Milind Sudhakar Marathe.

On 18 April 2025, Ms. Rami Niranjan Desai, Distinguished Fellow at India Foundation, participated in a panel discussion on "Decolonisation and the Global South: Reshaping Multilateralism", as part of the Dialogue Session Series at the Puri Literary Festival. She was joined by fellow panelists H.E. Anil Sooklal, Dr. Sreeram Chaulia, Ms. Swasti Rao, and Mr. Pranab Dhal Samanta.
The Puri Literary Festival Book of the Year Award in the Fiction Category was conferred upon the book, To Good To Be True by Ms. Prajakta Koli by H.E. Ambassador Prof. Anil Sooklal.

National Book Trust, India proudly served as the Knowledge Partner for the first edition of the Puri Literary Festival 2025, held from 18–20 April.
Prof. Milind Marathe, Chairman, NBT-India, attended the Valedictory Session, where he was warmly felicitated by the organisers. In his address, he encouraged the festival’s spirit of literary celebration and creative dialogue.
As part of the ceremony, Chairman Sir presented the prestigious Ramakant Rath Sahitya Samman to Shri Gyaan Hota, along with a painting of Lord Jagannath — a tribute to literary excellence.
The PLF Book of the Year (Fiction) was awarded to Prajakta Koli for her outstanding contribution to storytelling.
