We're sorry to have to cancel Santa's visit to Grasmere Road, Brancaster Lane and Selcroft Road this evening. We know people will be disappointed and have not taken this decision lightly. The conditions on pavements and steps in the area are just too treacherous.

We had an informative, pleasant time despite the cold and one of our junior members had a go on the 'roundabout'.

We were joined by Sue Bennett, Deputy Civic Mayor, for official opening of the Music and Theatre cottage in #Purley #Rotary Field. President Andrew gave us a speech, members tried out the musical instruments, and the plaque in memory of Geoff Shaw was unveiled.

We had a fabulous social evening at McDermotts Fish and Chips yesterday. The food was lovely, as demonstrated by the empty plates, and the occasion was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
