@yodaniel Requiring a unanimous verdict for conviction increases the possibility of him walking away from this. And, sadly, there will still be women who will overlook his toxic history with the ladies in order to be in a relationship with a footballer.
@BillBailey reading an old edition of The Times I saw your recommendation of Wardruna. Have now been down a 3-hour YouTube wormhole of Norse Metallic Dark Folk music. Thank you!
@AndyGardiner @PeteBrownBeer I don't know if the Compton Arms has the same problem - I couldn't find full details of the complaint - but if so, the pub is suffering from the poor behaviour of its clientele. And I have sympathy for the neighbours.
@AndyGardiner @PeteBrownBeer We have lived above a bar for 25 years, with minimal problems. But since the pandemic more of their patrons drink outside, noisily. Also, at closing, patrons now wait outside in large numbers waiting for their Ubers. Noisily. The bar could keep them inside, but don't/can't.
@The_Swell_Shark@EniAlu@Lionesses Women have been attending men's football games for decades; it is nice to have someone who looks like us being given a platform. If women aren't allowed to talk about the game, why is Robbie Savage entitled to critique Ronaldo and De Bruyne?
@qikipedia I had my car cleaned yesterday. I asked them to leave the spider's web alone, but they ignored my request. Spiders eat flies, so they are my friends.
