Manipur - Devotees Celebrate Kang Chingba (Rath Yatra) across state, Upholding a 246-Year-Old Sacred Tradition

The festival carries a rich historical legacy dating back to 1780, when Maharaja Bhagyachandra (Ching-Thang Khomba) established the Shree Bijoy Govindaji Temple and elevated the worship of Bhagwan Jagannath to the state level by organizing the first official Rath Yatra in Manipur.

Padma Shri awardee and former Ministry of Home Affairs official Shri RVS Mani has spoken about the torture he endured to manufacture the fake "Hindu terror" narrative and compromise India's national security for vote-bank politics.

This was not an isolated case.

Keralam's own Padma Bhushan Shri Nambi Narayanan was falsely implicated, tortured, and his reputation destroyed.

Congress's dirty politics set India's space programme back by years.

The CPM stood firmly with the Congress through those UPA years while patriots were harassed and institutions were compromised.

Today, the same politics continues in Keralam.

Congress and the CPM:
