@dalvincookin Bad position coaching by Josh McCown. He fails young QBs. Does ok with vets like Darnold/Cousins but the longer a young QB is under him the worse that player gets. It's a telltale sign. He and Daniels - another failed assistant - should have been let go along with the OL coach.

@VikingsSheep How about Josh McCown's performance as QBs coach? For all his supposed reputation he's never improved a young QB. Vet QBs improved somewhat but to to contender levels. He's kept his job because he's KOC's buddy.

@Dust_Vikings Sign a vet ER after June 1 so we can spread the cap $ onto next year and retain flexibility for this year.

@WillRagatz Have they said anything about what traits they're looking for? While being a good communicator and team player are fine, it's clear this team needs to focus on maximizing talent - especially through the draft. Whoever can best do that should be GM.

@verysadvikings If this is the hire it's a tanking hire. Bet this is Grigson's agent putting out a plea to get put on the interview list. Hope the new GM sends Grigson packing. What has he done to help this franchise?

@WillRagatz Not sure I want too big of commitment. Maybe decent $ this year - mostly signing bonus - with 1-2 option years on back for cap purposes and lots of incentives. If he has good year could then hit FA next year for a big payday.

@thorku Brandel is one of "their guys". Those are never given a run for anything regardless of their play on the field. Bradbury was the previous one with this status.

@vikingzfanpage Brandel is one of their pets. Under this staff that means you're not held accountable for your play and no competition will be brought in lest it hurt your feelings. Bradbury was the previous pet there for years.
