What’s the upper limit for sugar?

We don’t need sugar for energy or survival; we need it for pleasure. However, in high doses, it harms our health.

The American Heart Association recommends a maximum of 25g of sugar daily for women and 36g for men. For context, one glass of orange juice has 22g of sugar, almost the full daily limit.

The ideal amount is zero, so if I’m having sugar, I want it to be something truly worth it, like a dessert I love ❤️
