Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
Looking stunning today
Well done to Waterford County Council for maintaining and preserving the #HistoricQuays
Lovely to see a direct relationship with the water

The OPW want to demolish a perfectly salvageable historic building from the 1820s as part of their WALLs scheme in Clonakilty
It's bad enough that they are destroying the river habitat.
This building can be restored.
No planning, no licence, no consent!!
Unfortunately one of our crews came under attack last night while dealing with a fire in the Ballyvolane area.
One firefighter was injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
We wish our colleague a speedy recovery and thank the public for their continued support.
May I take a moment to point out to all governments, that there is sod all point in promoting #electricvehicles unless the power they use is generated from renewable sources.
A petrol Nissan Micra is greener than an electric Nissan Leaf if the electricity is from made from coal.
That’s it...
That’s the shot of Cork, I was looking to get all these years..
Good morning, from a small City on the second largest natural harbour in the world...

The label below is attached to a bottle that promotes itself as a Cider that is all about “notes of apples”
This is not real Cider...
Real cider is made by people like @theapplefarmer and contains only apples and supports Irish growers.
Our Pet of the Week this week is Maggie. She is a one year old Akita & we're appealing for an experienced home where she will be loved and cared for. Maggie was rescued by an ISPCA Inspector where she was living in unsuitable conditions. Read more here https://t.co/9vPIeWGzbF
Trees are an important asset in cities
The WALLs scheme includes a wall of concrete or steel past the depth of the river bed on every quayside and river bank for 15km in the centre of #Cork
Hundreds of trees would be removed or badly damaged by this

Watching this beautiful yacht arrive in Cork this evening.....
And wondering why the shiny plan for Cork’s future in 2040 makes no use of our harbour for public transport.
Sydney doesn’t turn her back to the harbour...
Just saying....
