Expanding donor pool and organ utilization with OCS "heart in a box". Traditional heart ischemic times are ~4h. This heart came from across the country w 10hrs outside body. Fantastic job by @FiedlerAmy, @JasonWSmithMD, @LiviuKlein and HF team. UCSF did 3 OCS and 10txp this mo.

🫀Great live case @ecsclub! Total endoscopic aortic valve replacement by @AntoniosPitsis. I am always amazed how good the visualization of the surgical anatomy is through such a tiny incision.

@Chris09201732 Not as many as you might think. On average, I probably create ~10 new reminders in a day that help remember the little things.
I use recurring reminders pretty frequently as well - water the plants, car maintenance, payment schedules - that keep ongoing things on track too.
