15,000+ builders joined n&w s4.
here's what they been up to:
week 1 -- they started w/ an idea that excited them
week 2 -- they built a "toy" version of their idea
week 3 -- they officially launched and shared what they have built w/ the world
this was all in just 3 weeks
1. Would you buy this if we launch on kickstarter?
2. What price would you be happy to pay for this?
3. Would you like to see a cheaper, semi plastic model as well?

It's not perfect yet, but we have the first metal working prototype!! There's a millimeter or two of error in welding the main stand, which is leading to a very long point, also, will test a finer sandpaper next. Please help me with some market research if you have the time
1/2
We re-engineered a classic pencil sharpener!
All the parts for the first 3 prototypes are here! We assemble tomorrow! Cannot wait to crank that sharpener after 3 months of insanity, OCD for quality and #buildpace!

@alec_dilanchian@buildspace@FarzaTV Thanks! I am probably the farthest removed right now from my software engineering self 😂, but, its hard to explain, I feel a disruption in me, but in a good way!
1/3 We are recreating a classic hand-cranked pencil sharpener from 1886!
The first functional prototype is here!
This one is plastic+ metal moving parts.
DM for pre-orders!
What we learned:
1. Need a product video
2. Etsy ads are not converting
What we built:
1. First plastic and metal prototype
2. First pencil sharpened!
Where we launched:
Continually engaging in the community, but no official launches
Apart from the update, this week was absolutely chaotic, amidst the rush of finding better manufacturers, we found one in a town about 70 Kilometers away. It's government backed and they agreed on a few parts that we could not get done. @FarzaTV@_buildspace
We re-engineered a metal and wood, vintage hand-cranked pencil sharpener from 1886. Here are revenue stats for week 4.
