The Lock Up S2 has been a big disappointment for the viewers and the hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh are being unfair and biased.

They brought Akanksha Choudhary and Yogesh Rawat because they were the talk of the town after Splitsvilla. The show got its TRPs, trended at No. 1, and now it feels like they’re being sidelined.

Yogesh was eliminated without even getting a proper chance to save himself the previous week, while contestants who repeatedly say they want to leave the show continue to stay. How is that fair?

The biggest problem has been the inconsistency in how contestants are judged. When Yogesh or Akanksha make a mistake, the entire episode revolves around them. But when others cross the line, the criticism doesn’t seem equally harsh.

Shreya Kalra has made personal remarks about other women on the show that went below the belt, including comments about their character and personal lives. Yet,she has not been criticised to the same extent. If everyone is being judged by the same standards, then everyone should be held equally accountable.

At this point, the winner feels predictable. The audience isn’t asking for their favourites to win they are asking for fairness. If that disappears, there’s no point in calling it a reality show anymore.
