@marionbccsd1 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC@JasonReynolds83 I agree with you because it is a really a touching and relatable title, if a person was browsing a library they would get interested upon seeing that title
@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC I would give the title"Absent Again; But Till When?" to the book "All American Boys" because this book is about how the students of the high school are learning to find their voice in public to stand up against a wrong society. #smsreadandtweet
@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC I would portray Guzzo as Dwayne Johnson because like Guzzo Dwayne Johnson is also big. On page 34 it said"He was just massive" when Quinn was describing Guzzo. #smsreadandtweet.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS@JasonReynolds83 I think that you should make a sequel to All American boys like an aftermath book. It should include the court case that they were going to go to and also how the school is after the whole event.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS A2: I would pick rainbow sherbert for Quinn because like the colors of the rainbow sherbert Quinn has a lot of different feelings. On page 215 it says "I might be a bad guy, but I know this isn't right, should I do something?" This shows the mix of feeling like the mix of colors
@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC A1: My favorite quote from the book is “Is that what it would take to look at things differently? You need him to be dead?” Pg 175. That is my favorite quote because that is the sentence the makes Quinn realize the right thing to do. #smsreadandtweet
@93Priscillam @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS I disagree with that because a police officer beating a kid nearly to death won't go completely unnoticed. But the problem would get resolved earlier because then more people would've watched it and at least one of them would have take action
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS A2: P3. If the setting is moved to the center of the town then Quinn's reaction would've been way different because since the setting is in the midst of two towns Quinn is used to seeing violence. But if Quinn hadn't been used to seeing violence then he would have acted earlier.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS A2: P2 ...so a character like Quinn wouldn't be necessary. Another place the setting could move to can be instead in the middle of two towns to in the center of a town. ......#smsreadandtweet
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS All American Boys takes place in a rural area between two towns. But if the setting was to take place somewhere else like in an urban area then the book would become more fast-paced and would be less dramatic because so many people would have witnessed it... #smsreadandtweet
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS The author should have added the perspective of Jill. He should add Jill's perspective so that the reader can see what she thinks about Paul throughout the story. She also goes to school with Rashad so the Story would be different and interesting. #smsreadandtweet
@marionbccsd1 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS@JasonReynolds83 I agree with you on the fact that Quinn should have went to help because he knew Paul and if Quinn told Paul to stop, Paul might have stopped.
