@Matt20161577221 @AkuaHans_@camdenstewarts If you listen closely after the second applause, you can hear the guy say something along the lines of “always the africans” or “all these africans”
@AlighieriPath@Vizexta@vamprlng @teeoru @brndxix I understand the points you made, but like I said I don’t know the whole history, I was just trying to explain things from the other side for someone who is curious. And in another reply I did **briefly** explain how Israel got the land.
@Vizexta@vamprlng @teeoru @brndxix I did some reading and found that the UN gave Britain power to mandate Palestine (just after ww1). Britain chose to create a “national home for the Jewish people.” Like you said, Israel was created in 1948, but it’s a result of Britain “uniting”arabs and jews in Palestine’s land.
@Vizexta@vamprlng @teeoru @brndxix I’m not that well educated on the history but that state was once Palestine. Over the last several decades, Palestinians have been forced to move from land that was theirs to the small Gaza Strip—basically trying to wipe them from the map. It’s wrong for them to take their land.
