*4. Notice is Mandatory*

నగరంలో శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణే ధ్యేయంగా గురువారం రాత్రి హైదరాబాద్ సిటీ పోలీస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 'ఆపరేషన్ కవచ్' పేరిట ముమ్మర వాహన తనిఖీలు చేపట్టాము.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్-వెంకటగిరి, మధురానగర్-కృష్ణకాంత్ పార్క్, బోరబండ-పిలీ దర్గా, సనత్నగర్, అమీర్పేట్-సత్యం థియేటర్, తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో స్వయంగా నేనే క్షేత్రస్థాయికి వెళ్లి తనిఖీలను పరిశీలించాను.
ఈ ప్రత్యేక డ్రైవ్ లో భాగంగా కమిషనరేట్ వ్యాప్తంగా మేము మొత్తం 12,098 వాహనాలను (8,802 ద్విచక్ర వాహనాలు, 1,693 ఫోర్ వీలర్స్, 1,623 ఆటోలు) తనిఖీ చేశాము.
ఇందులో సరిగ్గా లేని నంబర్ ప్లేట్లు గల 1,406 వాహనాలను, అసలు నంబర్ ప్లేట్ లేని 1,132 వాహనాలను, నకిలీ నంబర్ ప్లేట్లతో తిరుగుతున్న 69 వాహనాలను గుర్తించాము. నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించిన మొత్తం 2,149 వాహనాలను (2,046 ద్విచక్ర వాహనాలు, 52 ఫోర్ వీలర్స్, 51 ఆటోలు) స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నాము.
నెంబర్ ప్లేట్ల ట్యాంపరింగ్, నకిలీ లేదా అసలు నెంబర్ ప్లేట్లు లేకపోవడాన్ని కేవలం సాధారణ ట్రాఫిక్ ఉల్లంఘనగా మేము పరిగణించబోము. ఇది సమాజ భద్రతకు పెను ముప్పుగా మారడంతో పాటు, అమాయకులను ఇబ్బందుల్లోకి నెడుతోంది. అందుకే నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించే వారిపై చీటింగ్, ఫోర్జరీ కేసులు నమోదు చేస్తాము.
రాబోయే రోజుల్లో అన్ని రకాల వాహనాలపై ఈ తనిఖీలు కొనసాగుతాయి. వాహనదారులు ఎల్లప్పుడూ సరైన పత్రాలను తమతో ఉంచుకోవాలి. నగర శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణకు ప్రజలంతా పోలీసులకు సహకరించాలని కోరుతున్నాం.
