@LordNethermore We aren't redesigning everything in the game. Only Dave and peashooter have had a redesign (the only thing we changed on peashooter was his leafs at the bottom) and we're not trying to be "pvz3 but good" the game is meant to be pvz3 but it's more like pvz1 and 2 without merging.

@Rogerioica99438 Our team was actually just discussing this. We've decided that on release the game will be on pc only and we will release a mobile port in the future.

@LordNethermore Not only that but the name probably played a big role in it. Although they planned on changing it and even told EA/Popcap they where, the damage had already been done.

@LordNethermore I think Wchb was a bit of a different story. I think it's cancellation was because it was trying to be pvz3 but better. When all the plants and zombies for the game were shown they did a side-by-side comparison of their design next to the official design showing theirs was better
