@AskPlaystation it's been almost 2 weeks since your system update completely bricked my console (ie. cannot get out of safemode, not via any of the options).
Not only can I not play my games, but you've ruined the trade in value of my console weeks prior to the PS5 release.

The tech sent me links to the same unhelpful stuff that they sent me in every past session. Was told to wait 1-2 days for the business call, and had to explain it had already been more than that. This so insanely frustrating.

Probably going to miss Destiny end of season stuff, and probably won't be able to play Beyond Light that I already bought.

@AskPlayStation so I keep being told to go your live chat for support. I went in through account help, and they told me that they can't help me I have to go through hardware and dc'ed me.
I try to go to hardware, but it doesn't connect to chat... this is so fucking dumb.

@ItLeels Yup. I literally stopped buying XBox products because trying to access support was so horrible when I needed it.
If you'd asked me if I was buying a PS5 the day before the system 8.00 update, it would have been an easy yes.
I don't know if I can confidently buy anymore.

@Cy83rWolf @AskPlayStation Problem is, I had auto-updates turned on. So basically the day before the update I had a functioning console - one day later I cannot get past safe mode.
So unless someone from playstation is able to tell me that they are gonna fix this and not charge me, I'm screwed.

@PrettyNigFlacko @PlayStation If it's any consolation - it bricked my console so hard it can't get out of safemode, even trying to reinstall. Playstation has not helped me at all almost a week later :(
