๐ฃ We have sad news today. It has been a tough decision for all involved, but we have decided to cancel #PyTN2021.
We realized that we will be unable to put on the kind of PyTN that we want to in 2021, and we'd rather whole-ass #PyTN2022 than half-ass #PyTN2021. See you in 2022!
We want to hear from you! PyOhio is Jul 31 & the CFP is open now through April 19:
* All short talks (5 or 10 mins)
* Looking for a variety of topics!
Think: things that would be interesting to users of Python buy may not typically be a conference talk

If you submitted a talk to the now-cancelled #PyTN2021 (or have a talk you wish you'd submitted) and you still want to give your talk, then we'd love to have you present (virtually) at @pynash!
Reach out to @WCJDev and let's get you on the schedule. ๐๐
The PyTennessee homepage has been updated with a few brief words about the cancellation. There's not much that hasn't been said on Twitter already, but just in case anyone needed an "official" location for the cancellation: https://t.co/FfSnCKpVvU
We owe a huge thank you to everyone who donated their time and money to #PyTN2021, everyone who submitted a talk and picked up a ticket, and everyone who continues to support PyTN. We see and appreciate you. Thank you.
We'll be back in 2022, and we hope to see all of you then!
๐ค Got any weekend plans? We have a GREAT idea, if not: how about submitting a talk to #PyTN2021?
It's free, it's easy, and it's a great way to spend a few hour this weekend. We'd love to have you, especially if you're a first-time conference speaker!

Need help with an idea for your #PyTN2021 talk proposal? We have a few:
* That recent problem you solved at work
* That cool thing you learned last week
* Neat-o stuff in 3.9
* Working remotely successfully
* That fun side project you goof around with

If you submitted a talk to @PyGotham or are submitting one to @pycascades, you should also consider submitting to #PyTN2021!
https://t.co/8nghW9wNBZ
Our talks will be pre-recorded, we LOVE first-time speakers, and we'll provide speaker coaching to those that want it. ๐๐
Are you a first time speaker? Nervous to speak in public but not to pre-record your talk? Have an awesome idea that plays with the pre-recorded medium?
If you answered yes to any of these, we want YOU to speak at #PyTN2021!
Submit your talk here: https://t.co/8iPXTcTP3P
It's Thursday, Oct 1 and do you know where your #PyTN2021 CFP submission is? The CFP is open until Oct 14, and we want YOU to submit a talk!
We're a first-timer-friendly conference, with free speaker coaching available to those that need/want it. ๐ช๐
https://t.co/8nghW9wNBZ
Update: PyTexas will be online-only. We'll stream talks from speakers over the weekend of October 24th/25th.
We've also decided to make the conference free to attend, and refunded all tickets.

๐ ICYMI: The #PyTN2021 CFP is open!
https://t.co/8iPXTcTP3P
We want first-time speakers, experienced speakers, and everywhere in between. We want lightning talks, โtraditionalโ talks, and talks that play with the virtual medium. We canโt wait to see what you come up with!
๐CFP for PyTennessee is open!๐
PyTN is going virtual for 2021 and all talks will be prerecorded! If public speaking normally makes you nervous this is the perfect year to submit a talk! CFP is open until October 13th or until we reach 200 submissions. https://t.co/8iPXTcTP3P
๐ฃ It's happening: PyTN is back! ๐
PyTN 2021 will be a free, one-day, virtual conference on March 6, 2021. CFP opens next week, with a website and more info coming soon...

And if you're interested in sponsoring #PyTN2021, then we'd love to talk to you! Please contact us at [email protected]. It would be our pleasure to tell the #python community how wonderful you are and what great taste you have in Python conferences! ๐๐ช
@TechDeviant Eek! I just realized we never replied to your message, I'm so sorry! Unfortunately, the talks for PyTN 2020 were not recorded, so there are no videos of any of the talks. This is something we're changing for 2021 (since it'll be virtual), and hopefully in future years as well.
Hey, @pyohio speakers! I see you out there, working hard to get your talk videos pulled together and delivered. Youโre doing a great job, and making me so proud that weโre having this event and that we get to showcase yโall. ๐โค๏ธ๐
