The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is a secular, Marxist-Leninist Palestinian political and armed resistance organization, currently the third-largest faction in Gaza. Founded in 1967 by George Habash, the group had expanded into broad sectors of Palestinian civil society by the 1990s.

The PFLP links labor struggle to national liberation, arguing the fight against Israel is fundamentally a class struggle. It views the “Arab bourgeoisie” as unreliable, accusing regional elites of aligning with imperialism over popular interests. In the 1970s, the PFLP formed an alliance with the Japanese Red Army (JRA) and together carried out the 1972 Lod Airport operation. The JRA viewed Palestine as the "spark" for a global revolution.

The group also recruited foreign revolutionaries, including Ilich Ramírez Sánchez (the notorious "Carlos the Jackal") and Nicaraguan-American Patrick Argüello, who died while attempting a hijacking with Leila Khaled in 1970.

PFLP is the second-largest faction within the PLO after Fatah, and the largest left-wing group in the umbrella body. It has lately been boycotting the PLO’s Executive Committee and the Palestinian National Council in protest of Fatah’s leadership and policies.

There is no credible evidence that Iranian authorities “killed at least 42,000 innocent, completely unarmed, protestors” in the riots and protests two months ago.

HRANA, a widely cited Iran rights monitor, reported on January 27 that protests had led to 42,324 arrests, not 42,000 killings.

The group, which is funded in part by the U.S. government, published on February 23 a ~1,350-page report, it’s most comprehensive account, which documented 7,007 deaths overall — broken down as 6,488 adult protesters, 236 minors, 207 security force members, and 76 non-participants. Iranian authorities have noted 3,117 deaths because of the actions of armed rioters who infiltrated the protests, and about 3,000 arrests.

I understand non-Jews having this impulse but we need to expect Synagogues to separate themselves from Israel, they are very much doing the exact opposite of that in nearly every Synagogue.

Why should they be separated from the consequences of Israel's behavior if they specifically help enable, fund and empower it?

Until American Synagogues separate themselves from Israel, this kind of thing will become more common, and they know it.

I am NOT endorsing attacks of ANY religious places of worship, but to say Synagogues are separate from Israel fails to really grasp the nature of the situation.

Israel killed children in this mans family. It is not antisemitic to ask how many members of this Synagogue are Zionists, how many donate to the IDF, or if they've sold land in the West bank.
