Iran's state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has published this photograph purportedly showing a tanker with its aft section engulfed in flames.
According to IRNA, the incident occurred northeast of Khasab, Oman, the same general area referenced in a United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) advisory issued earlier after a tanker reported hearing an explosion in close proximity to the vessel.
At this time, the IRNA report remains unverified. However, the reported location closely aligns with the UKMTO advisory, and the image was first published approximately 30 minutes after the UKMTO issued its warning. No official confirmation has yet been provided regarding the identity of the vessel or the cause of the incident.

In all seriousness, how is Russia, who is losing the war in Ukraine in its own backyard able to help Iran defeat US interceptors protecting our forces 1000’s of miles away?
Russia is providing valuable satellite and signals intelligence to Iran that is likely helping it to pinpoint U.S. military forces across the Middle East as well as jam American-made aircraft and munitions used in strikes against Iran, U.S. and European officials with knowledge of the matter have told NBC News.

@nayibbukele Unpopular but yes, the financial system died as we knew it in 2008. The following 22 years after has/is/will be known as the greatest transfer of wealth in history of the G7 from the middle class to the wealthy elites in those countries.
According to a new Center For Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) analysis, the U.S. now has roughly 827 Patriot and 278 Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) interceptors remaining, down from an estimated 2,330 and 452, respectively.
Analysts warn replenishing these high-end missile inventories could take years, despite expanded production efforts, leaving limited capacity for other major contingencies if demand remains high.
CNN reports Pentagon sources say those estimates are close to internal figures.

The New York Times reports that President Donald J. Trump has, for now, paused plans to significantly expand U.S. strikes against Iran after senior military leaders warned that doing so could dangerously deplete Patriot interceptor and other air defense missile stockpiles needed to protect U.S. forces in the Middle East.
According to the report, the administration is weighing those military constraints alongside the risks of broader regional escalation, while continuing economic pressure and leaving the door open to diplomacy. If accurate, the decision highlights how limited stocks of critical air defense munitions are increasingly shaping U.S. military options as the conflict continues.
