AFP Virginia and Pennsylvania Ladies joined our friends in Philadelphia for the Women’s Public Leadership Network Conference this week. The future is bright with women working together to lead our communities towards prosperity and opportunities. #AmericansforProsperity#Virginia
@AmiriKing She was sick and she passed away. They deserve privacy. He owes you nothing. You sound like a child. Mind your business. And as a recovering widow myself, you can stfu with that wanting people to remain miserable and alone to suit your feels.
@ThotPolitik@carynannharlos As a recovering widow, it hurts me deeply to see people making judgments who haven’t experienced this. I couldn’t even exist without people judging my every move.
@carynannharlos There is more to it than people know because most people are older when they lose their spouse. If anyone is interested in having a conversation about what physical, emotional, chemical and emotional impacts it has on the body, I’d be happy to have a conversation.
@BuenoForMiami If you would like to have a real discussion on the behaviors of widows and widowers and not this shame tour you are on, I will have a discussion with you. You appear to want to judge without having understanding. Having experience with this versus whatever this is you are doing.
@BuenoForMiami Dissecting everything a widow or widower does is asinine. It’s statements like this that left me knowing who not to waste my energy on when my late husband passed away. Unless you have lost your spouse, one should really just stfu. But I’m sure you have an excuse for this post.
@RepThomasMassie As another who works politics who lost their spouse, I appreciate having you as a voice of reason and passion for those who can’t find their voice. Keep it going!
Big thanks to Oakwood Homes of Glen Allen for giving a tour of their modular and manufactured homes. Across the Commonwealth, we need opportunities and resources, instead of creating more red tape that reduce supply and hinder communities from housing stability. #VAgov
Thank you to the ladies at East Gate Baptist Church for discussing the cost of housing and utilities and working alongside us to write their representatives on tax cuts.
It was a great morning showing appreciation to legislators and staff who worked with the Richmond community on legislation to give Virginians opportunities and choices. I’m grateful for the community working through coalitions and those at the Capitol doing the work alongside us.
Innovative thinking and communication between individuals is the chance for us to focus on wins for localities and individuals. Communication, as always, is key.
