🚨 Lamine Yamal tells The Guardian: “I went to Leo Messi and said: thank you”.

“I just thanked him a lot for everything he has done and how he’s the best. I’ve always believed he is the best”.

“I always try to distance myself a little from things that seem beautiful for show. The moment came from within. I saw him there, so I went to thank him for what he did for football, it came spontaneously”.

🚨🔵🔴 Hansi Flick confirms new deal done for Raphinha: “Yes! I am happy about Raphinha's contract renewal, it's the best decision the club could make”.

“He's the best captain you can have”.

🚨🇦🇷 Barcelona president Laporta on Julián Álvarez: “Atlético have showed true colors. They acted as though they were the offended party — they had no way of justifying their attitude. We did what is normally done — as there were talks between the clubs, then I personally spoke with Gil Marín”.

“He told me Julián wasn’t coming because they didn’t have an alternative… and then Atlético reacted inappropriately. I do not know what caused it. I can imagine why, but I have no proof”.

“We were hearing reports that they would sell to anyone in the world except Barça. And that’s the case… they were actually ready to sell Julián to any club in the world, but not to us”.

“It’s already the past, we’re now very happy with our squad”.

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨🔵🔴 Mourinho on Barcelona: “Real Madrid can NOT compare itself to anyone”.

“It is becoming increasingly difficult to hear anything positive said about Real Madrid. Yet, we continue our work with humility, fully aware of our issues”.

🚨🎙️ Hansi Flick on why Anthony Gordon didn’t get a minute in Barcelona’s 7-2 win over Racing Santander:

“Honestly, I’m someone who really likes rotation, so Gordon not getting minutes is not a big deal like some media are making it.

“When Raphinha was substituted, he actually suggested that we bring Gordon on, saying it would be good for his confidence to get on the scoresheet.

“I respect that idea from our captain, as he always looks out for his teammates’ happiness, and I was ready to take Adeyemi off. But Gordon politely told me that he appreciated Raphinha wanting to help him, but honestly, he wasn’t worried about scoring. He knew his goals would come and asked me to leave Adeyemi on because he was having a great game and enjoying himself.

“That gesture really impressed me. This kind of love and support for teammates is exactly what I enjoy about this team.”
