@DireRavennn Learn to understand why people actually dislike microtransactions. Should we just hate dlc's cause they're priced additions to full price games? Holy shit
I'm looking for a new shorts editor!
If you or anyone you know may be interested, have them fill out this form, thanks!

@sixthousandj@maxxw3lling@copperCity17 I understand why they did it, but I dislike it. I think they sacrificed gameplay for story in this instance, which I dislike especially cause it's a roguelite.
@copperCity17 Is Sifu really a roguelite? It's not randomly generated unless I am missing something and I think that just might completely disqualify it from the genre. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't rank it with these other games. On it's own it's really, really good still

@T3rraCat@ConfessionsMew I do agree with this and I find it cool as well. But I do think that at some point the game isn't even a roguelite anymore. Metaprogression for example can go too far. Or too many shortcuts/checkpoints. I like it when a genre "guarantees" something about the game.
@FiltrationSystm@zeke_tuah@ConfessionsMew It's a 2d platformer that is at the same time incredibly fair but incredibly brutal. You will constantly find new ways to die and your death is 100% your fault. Skins are the only metaprogression
And the games are incredible and very influential to the genre.
