@996Abdulhakeem@PamonhaDiPira@HazzadorGamin Someone mentioned this before but they deleted their comment.
I think it’s because they make a lot more profit after purchase.
Their first-party games are simpler/cheaper to produce, but they cost the same as AAA games and they rarely go on sale.
@ElDogson@PamonhaDiPira@HazzadorGamin I believe it’s because they make a lot more money on the back end.
Their games rarely discount, and they’re generally expensive despite their simplicity.
@madcap412 It’s not really comparable.
PlayStation is a closed system where Sony is the king and their customers are the feudal peasants. Just a game box
A PC is an everything box. But a jack of all trades…
@L01c3ns3dT0M3m3@k1rallik Most of the posts are from console fans who can’t get it past their head that a console is a game box and not a personal computer.
Ofc they’ll subsidize the cost as much as possible and get money off of the platform fees
@M_7_D_7 There is danger and there isn’t.
It is the program you’re running is safe, there’s no harm. But if you’re braindead, there’s a chance you could rootkit your computer
@BetoncuBerat@lisboas_lucas If you get a rootkit, then the PC largely becomes infected forever ( Or until the malicious actors have no use for you).
You can’t reinstall OS and flush it out, it’s stuck to the MB or other hardware components
@Tailsfox1999@gamingatdenuvo It’s crazy how you can disagree with a platform, and they have the right to ban your account and take the games you paid for away
