Booking a jungle safari in Madhya Pradesh still asks for father's/husband's name, even though Aadhaar, PAN, or passport number already verify identity. Seems unnecessary in 2025! Hindustan ka dil, please have a heart.

@approxr @NTA_Exams I don't think there should be any issue with your form. I filled the enrolment number (without slashes) in both fields (your first 2 imgs) and I think that was probably not the right thing to do. Despite them asking for the enrolment number, they meant the Aadhaar number only.
@NTA_Exams Why are jee mains applicants asked for the Aadhaar enrolment number and not the Aadhaar number (in the registration process)? Also, will there be a problem if the Aadhaar enrolment number is filled (without the slashes)?
@Suryakantrrrg @pathuthala123 A monk by definition is "a man who is a member of a group of religious men who live a simple life apart from general society, usually in a monastery." - not a power hungry man in public life.
@ak059@Staunch_NaMo What do you write in the nationality field on any form? Indian or Hindu? Going by your second statement, if you're from India, then your nationality is Hindu? Please get over this nonsense, there are greater problems that one needs to worry about.
@Staunch_NaMo Is that right? I'm not sure why the word 'indian' is being replaced with 'hindu'? Indian is the nationality and Hindu is religious identity and these two words are not synonyms.
@thebetterindia@TandonRaveena I am very grateful to Zaaria Patni for bringing about this change. However, I am not sure if many people are aware that off late it's again become very difficult for single parents to get a passport for their minor child.
@rpohyderabad, @passportsevamea Here are some articles on what the honourable court has to say regarding this: https://t.co/IMXeV5aqdH
And

@MEAIndia@passportsevamea@DrSJaishankar Obtaining a passport for a minor by a single parent has become as difficult as it was before 2016. It's made worse by the incomplete information on the passport website, making it seem simple when it's not. (Contd.) 1 of 3
(3 of 3) Or please update the passport website to mention that a court ruling granting permanent custody with no visitation rights is a mandatory document. The officials don't have the inclination or training to deal with such cases and all necessary info must be on the website.
@SUPRIYADEVERKON@nuts2406@MEAIndia@passportsevamea Oh my god, how infuriating! These people and their rules, which they keep changing at will. A father who abandoned the child is still the father, whose name is required on every form in this country, and they were reluctant to add your name in the mother's name field!
@nuts2406@SUPRIYADEVERKON Thanks Natasha!
@SUPRIYADEVERKON I read your comments and went over your tweets, truly inspiring.
All power and best wishes to both of you.
