Mahrang Baloch was placed on a security list the day after being named to the TIME100 Next, for her work defending minority rights.
Now Pakistan is barring her from traveling to New York https://t.co/9f5cFE3qu7
On behalf of forcibly disappeared people and their Families , I spoke at the World Expression Forum, informing a vibrant Norwegian and international audience about the massive rights abuses in Balochistan. I spoke about increasing cases of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
I am deeply grateful to @PEN_Norway, Utøya Island, and #WEXFO for inviting me to this international forum to shed light on oppression my people have been facing for decades without their voices being heard.
I am also thankful to the participants from 44 countries and the new friends I've made who stood with me and extended their support to our cause. I’m grateful to @nhc_no for inviting me to their dinner and introducing me to new people.

Baloch Yakjehti Committee's Leader Dr Mahrang Baloch at Pen Norway on Wednesday.
She highlighted the multiple layers contributing to the Baloch genocide by Pakistani forces for over two decades. From political figures to activists, merely the identity of being Baloch has been perceived as a threat by the State, resulting in Baloch individuals being killed. She also discussed the unending tale of enforced disappearances.

I am deeply touched to see Baloch women and children from Malir and Lyari standing against enforced disappearances in Balochistan. For years, Lyari has remained the intellectual hub of Baloch nationalism in all its diverse expressions. The way peaceful residents of Lyari were treated and detained by Karachi police on Friday is a sheer violation of the law. I am writing to the United Nations Special Rapporteur about this mistreatment soon. Together, we can stand to stop grave abuses of rights in Balochistan. Be with us and strengthen our fight against this injustice. Thank you, Lyari. Thank you, Malir.

A deeply emotional scene unfolds at the Islamabad Press Club as the mother of Balaach, a youth killed in a fake CTD encounter, embraces Dr. Mahrang Baloch. The murder of Balaach in Turbat was the catalyst for the ongoing unprecedented wave of protests.
We need help from the whole world right now. You,as a human being, can stop the genocide of a nation, if you want another holocaust not to happen, then you have to stop d genocide of d Baloch nation by helping us.

Many Pakistanis'd be posting about this if it were in #Palestine or if those were Israeli officers. However, since the victim is a #Baloch student & culprits are Pakistani soldiers, for them 'It's fine; they deserve it for belonging to the Baloch ethnicity.'

Rallies held across Balochistan to remember Karima Baloch. The prominent leader was found dead a year ago in Canada, where she had been living in exile. She was the first woman to lead the Baloch Students Organisation and a fierce, charismatic person.
Today is #FathersDay. I can’t express the pain that I have not seen my father for last 12 years. I want to be with my father too. He was abducted in 2009. I will be leading a rally on 28 June for his safe return & hoping activists, journalists, political workers & will join me.
