Mental Health week was celebrated and acknowledged at Toowoomba Ambulance Station today with a Morning Tea and a timely reminder to take note of your surroundings and your peers to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

Yarraman Officer in Charge Amy Bellchambers, Paramedic Lachlan Matthew, First Responder Robyn Bliss and SES Members attended a Community Education Day at the Blackbutt Avocado Festival. There were approximately 5000 people in attendance at the Festival.

Congratulations to Paramedic Ian Turner for over 38 years of service in the QAS. Award presentations were held today at Stanthorpe Ambulance Station acknowledging Ian's distinguished career spanning more than three decades.

Wandoan Ambulance Station attended the Western Downs Regional Council Library Fun Palace today for the local primary school students. A total of 70 kindergarten and primary aged students from Wandoan, Guluguba and Grosmont schools and the local Wandoan kindergarten attended.

Operation Nighthawk provided a great community building opportunity providing support to @ScoutsAustralia Well done to the nearly 1700 participants and thank you to everyone including the @QAS_EMU that made this event possible.

Operation Nighthawk preparation and support is well underway in Clifton this weekend. The night orientation and bush-walking event has grown to be one of the largest Scouting Youth activities other than Jamborees, in Queensland. @ScoutsAustralia @QldAmbulance
