Last Friday was @QASCaversham Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. Very proud of our Consort Choir, alumni singers, and musicians who all performed exceptionally well. Already looking forward to the next one! 🎶
It’s been a very musical start to the week! Fabulous Lower School Concert on Monday - full of colour and energy @QAS_Music ! Then a delightful Piano Recital from @clare_pianist following a workshop with some of our top pianists. #QASStrongSpirits#ClareHammond
Congratulations to our hugely talented musicians who performed in tonight’s Scholars’ Concert. We are so fortunate to hear our students performing the likes of Chopin Ballades and Brahms sonatas. Well done all! @QASCaversham#qasmusic

In their final week at QAS, U6 put on an excellent show for their leavers' concert. 🎵
With several performances, from classical pieces to musical theatre, students took the opportunity to reminisce about their time at school through their last music performance.

We thoroughly enjoyed a performance from the QAS Sinfonia Orchestra in assembly today! You can hear more at our Choral & Orchestral Concert tomorrow at 7pm in the School Hall #QASMusic@QASCaversham
Each Friday, we have an informal lunchtime concert with students from across the year groups showcasing some of their current pieces. Today, one of our U4 (Year 9) musicians playing the complex and hauntingly beautiful theme tune to Schindler’s List.
Some of our musical performances for @cnni 's Freedom Day project.
Vivaldi by Milly (L5), 'Once Upon a Dream' by Celine (L5), and the music theme from 'Schindler's List' by Anna (U4). Shining a light on the global issue of modern slavery.

#QASMusic students hosted a Concert Band and Jazz evening last night upon their request to showcase pieces they have been working on.
There was an amazing array of film music, including James Bond and Mamma Mia, for what proved to be a delightful evening.

We were completely razzle-dazzled by the exuberant @QASCaversham production of Chicago! Worthy of a West End stage, we were in awe of the professional standard reached by these talented students. Our thanks and admiration also to all involved from @ShiplakeCollege & @ReadingBoys
