I believe all lives matter. However…

What was done to Iryna Zarutska was beyond heartbreaking. Afterwards, the savage who stabbed her said “I got that white bitch.” Also, while she was bleeding out, the people around her did nothing.

What was done to Henry Nowak was legitimate injustice. The cops were way more afraid to be seen as racist than they were to enforce the law.

Besides, wearing this shirt would piss off the right people, so I think it’s funny.

Reason I don’t wear a Black Lives Matter shirt is because no one wearing that shirt would give a rat’s ass if my black conservatarian ass died. Speaks to a larger problem than just “black lives.”

@colonelkurtz99 I also highly recommend reading Michael Tooley's (in)famous In Defense of Abortion and Infanticide, which is part of most college philosophy courses that deal with abortion, where he points out that looking only at what a being is capable of right now also justifies infanticide.

@SandyofCthulhu I was sad to hear Larry DiTillio passed away. I always enjoyed his Different World column and I enjoyed several shows he worked on (He-Man, She-Ra, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Captain Power, Conan the Adventurer, and Babylon 5.

@EveKeneinan I realized that the core problem with belief in using reason alone to make judgements is that we are not omniscient, which leads to using reasoning with incomplete information, which often leads to bad judgements because they don't take important unknowns into account.

@jondelarroz I think if they were honest, many know the "modern audience" audience doesn't exist in large numbers and their real goal is to use the messaging to turn captive viewers (old fans) more woke, in much the way Will & Grace made being gay more socially acceptable and less vilified.

@jondelarroz Don't forget that the first season of Stargate: Universe was an early example of trying to reach the imaginary "modern audience". They put a chick in it & made her gay. They made the older males shady & pathetic. It did so much damage the better second season couldn't save it.
