Just want to quickly put out that this twitter doesn't use my name or university affiliation solely because I'm easily tracked down and I'm afraid of a/nimal r/ights types. But this is not a 'secret' or 'pseudonym' account; it's okay to tag me in pictures, refer to me by name etc
Excited that George Melchor @thegliaguy's snRNAseq analysis of CNS #remyelination is now in Biorxiv... Remyelination is complicated, it takes a village. Congrat George on your excellent work! Thanks @Zeebamehrin@Jingwen_SMyelin and @Maryna_Baydyuk for contributing to this study. ๐
@kss_phd just saw the article on you in vox! So cool, congratulations! Really appreciated the substance of the interview too; I'm glad that it looks like they kept some of the conversation that the Nature piece excluded (?)
I had an amazing time at this year's GRC cognition! Some wonderful research and even more wonderful people. I'm not much of a picture taker, so I only got some photos of the mountains around the venue, which admittedly were gorgeous:
Led by Satoka Fujimoto and with @RussBEneuro and @HelenMaybergMD our first paper on the effects of deep brain stimulation in the brain. Whatโs exciting is that we find it induces white matter remodeling in specific tracts. @SinaiBrain https://t.co/8hgMmlQBfH
from @fredmstoll, @SHF14757, Niranjana Bienkowska, Liza London, and Lazar Fleysher, and wonderful mentorship from @RussBEneuro and @RudebeckLab! Thanks for reading!
It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I wanted to highlight our new paper published in Nature Communications, "The neural basis of resting-state fMRI functional connectivity in fronto-limbic circuits revealed by chemogenetic manipulation"!

Our work here shows that there is a direct and casual relationship between rs-FC and LFP coherence, and opens the door for further investigation into the neural basis of rs-FC. @sushi_neuro and I have been working on this project for quite a while, with invaluable contributions
