In August, we gave residents of the Freedom/Wilkinson corridor a disposable camera and asked them to photograph places that matter. I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out. For those of us less familiar with the area, it also serves as a reminder that these places EXIST.
Mecklenburg County released new tax valuations last week. Enderly Park neighbors appear likely to see significant tax increases.

We're at a groundbreaking this afternoon with our partner @WestSide_CLT.
More than 100 affordable senior apartments are now on the way on an historic parcel on West Boulevard.
There's a long litany of people engaged in the creation of 120 units, from a developer, to funders, to City staff. We especially love the Land Trust staff and board, and the people of West Blvd Neighborhood Coalition.
We're at @iamccda national conference today. This afternoon, @gregontuck led 58 attendees around Uptown exploring stories of exclusions and invisibilities.
