Challenge set for yr8 @QEGS_Ashbourne was to construct pylons from spaghetti and plasticine and attach cables(string) that could hold a mass of 10g. There had to be 2 identical pylons of 30cm height and 50cm apart. Check this Amazing achievement that held 80g. Impressive!

Year 9 @QEGS_Ashbourne have been extremely busy so far this week designing brilliantly fizzy bath bombs. Lesson 1 was product design to find the ‘perfect recipe’ Lesson 2 was product testing to assess their mix ratios against success criteria
