Following a talk with Charlie, a former QEGS student, on environmental management at the Woodsmith Mine the lower 6th geographers are carrying out coastal fieldwork at Sandsend.

The second part of our afternoon on Whitby has seen students conducting human geography fieldwork.

The lower 6th geographers have spent the first part of the afternoon investigating the water cycle in the North Yorkshire Moors. We are now moving onto Whitby for the second part of the afternoon

Early start this morning but a view of the eruption at Grindavik made it worth while.

Just completed the fly over Iceland and now going to our final stop of the tour, The Sky Lagoon.

Final day in Iceland has started with a visit to the Raufarholshullir Lava Tunnel. Next stop is a visit to the capital, Reykjavík.
