Here at Derby we are doing some work on the acuity and dependency of patients in the emergency department. Has anyone used Jones Dependency Tool/ BEST recently in the current climate of no flow?

Practicing scientific thinking with Toyota Kata has gone worldwide. Good! Maybe climate change is our moment for global cooperation; to address the challenges. But achieving international alliance might require practicing a shared, practical scientific way of striving for goals.
@davehoj26 Yeah, Joel Barker said: "When a paradigm shifts, everybody goes back to zero. It doesn't matter how strong your reputation, or how big your market share, or how good you are at the old paradigm." But, maybe that's also an opportunity for team unity, with everyone being a learner.
Day 1 of Virtual Quality Improvement Training @UHDBTrust today!
4 module programme delivered by @NHSElect with coaching support.

Really powerful patient narrative about the importance of making adjustments to enable autistic people to access healthcare. We’re educating our Emergency Department team at Derby about autism to improve the experiences of autistic patients and their carers.
Take a look at @QI_REMIT Chris’ poster on #RCEMasc virtual poster gallery “Wall Street Blues” to find out how we’re tackling interruptions to clinical workflow in Derby ED.
We’ve a QI project underway at Derby ED to reduce interruptions. It’s staggering to see the figures for how often a senior clinician is interrupted in an hour. Hopefully we will have some learning to share soon.
