One thing I’ve learned since leaving the Mormon church is that every scripture they use to validate their false doctrine ie; the need for a restoration, receiving the fullness of the priesthood keys etc ...has all been cherry picked and not taught in its full true context...
Jacob Hansen can post two year old debate clips with fake data all he wants.
Jonah Barnes can make seven part videos that have hundreds of factual errors in them.
Ward Radio can invite me and uninvite me to their show a thousand more times.
Rise Zion can try to play the hero by ignoring reams of evidence while breathlessly proclaiming “That’s dangerous…”.
But the facts remain:
1) Gordon Bowen is a sexual predator who
2) Stole money from a church owned business and
3) Abused men, boys and girls while
4) Writing homoerotic stories about being mounted by Jesus Christ, yet despite this
5) Church leaders like James E. Faust and M. Russell Ballard continued to socialize with and employ this man despite
6) Being explicitly told about his sins and crimes because
7) They felt they needed his expertise and contacts to improve the image of the church and
8) Even leaders who hate Bowen, like Dallin H. Oaks, lacked the moral courage to address the problem, all while
9) Abuse victims suffered in ways more horrible than I can describe and
10) Left the church confused as to why their shepherds were wooing the wolf who had maimed them.
You can’t run from the truth.
It’s time to face the facts, and have some frank conversations about what we’re going to do about what happened here.
No matter how frightening that may be.
7k views in less than a day. There are some really nervous LDS Sigma Chi / Pi Kappa Alpha / Skull and Bones guys out there tonight in Salt Lake and the Cottonwood Stake. They REALLY don’t want you to know about the traditions of their fathers, like Russell M. Nelson getting off on watching every Sigma Chi guy kiss Beverly Felt.
Sure would be a shame if you spread this show far and wide.

No trial for serial child predator Wade Christofferson, thereby saving his brother D. Todd Christofferson and the LDS Church from embarrassment and scrutiny for their role in the abuse.

This is the crux of the problem with the Gordon Bowen situation: for 40 years, LDS leaders have prioritized the "needs" of the corporation and the wolf who advises it over the actual needs of Gordon Bowen's victims - the very sheep these men took sacred oaths to protect.
This story will never go away. Not while I'm alive. And they can drag it out, and let everyone involved die so they can say "why focus on dead prophets", but I will never let the world forget what these men did to these victims and this community. Ever.
For reasons I will make clear next week, I propose the following as a standard of belief for those wishing to observe and participate in the conversation surrounding the problem of ritual abuse in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
It is my opinion that anyone not willing to accept these truths as axiomatic is not approaching the conversation in good faith, and I will not be engaging with them.
1) Ritual abuse is real.
2) The church is aware of it, as they receive reports about people engaging in ritualistic practices.
3) The problem has been around for centuries, and is international in scope.
4) Numerically speaking, ritual abuse does not directly affect most members of the church.
5) For those who are ritually abused, the abuse leads to serious problems.
6) The leadership of the church feels love and concern for victims of ritual abuse, therefore
7) The position members of the church should take towards ritual abuse victims should be one of love and concern.
🚨BREAKING: U.S. Marshals and Florida officials announce 60 missing missing kids were rescued during “Operation Dragonfly” making it the largest child rescuing operation in American history.
Let me get this straight, the US government has been funding the spread of sexual immorality and liberal "Christianity" all over the world with American taxpayer dollars?
On account of these the wrath of God is coming. -Colossians 3:6
