Today,

The Inspector General of Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, received Major General Mohammed Jassim Al-Sulaiti, Director General of Public Security, and Mansour bin Ali Fahad Al-Shahwani Al-Hajri, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to #Rwanda, at the General Headquarters of the #Rwandapolice in Kacyiru.

The discussions centred on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two law enforcement agencies.

The delegates from Qatar will also attend the ceremony to mark the 25th #RwandaPolice Day.

Today in Doha, President Kagame met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani @TamimBinHamad, Amir of the State of Qatar, during his one-day working visit to Qatar.

His Highness welcomed President Kagame at the Amiri Diwan, where the two leaders discussed the strong brotherly relations between Rwanda and Qatar, as well as the continued cooperation between the two countries across key sectors of mutual benefit.

President Kagame and His Highness Sheikh Tamim also exchanged views on regional developments and current international affairs, reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting international peace and security. President Kagame expressed Rwanda’s solidarity and continued support for the people of Qatar.

تلقى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، رسالة خطية من فخامة الرئيس بول كاغامي رئيس جمهورية رواندا، تتصل بالعلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، وسبل دعمها وتطويرها.

تسلم الرسالة سعادة الشيخ خليفة بن حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني وزير الداخلية وقائد قوة الأمن الداخلي "لخويا"، خلال استقباله اليوم لسعادة الدكتور فينسنت بيروتا وزير الداخلية بجمهورية رواندا، وذلك في إطار الزيارة التي يقوم بها للدولة.

وجرى خلال المقابلة، استعراض علاقات التعاون بين البلدين الصديقين، لا سيما في المجالات الأمنية، إضافة إلى مناقشة عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
