Highway Princess (box 5) and trainer Ella Cole - in her first Group final in Oz as a trainer - has taken out the Group 3 Dashing Corsair over 642 metres in a go to whoa win!
Ella is the daughter of leading NZ trainers Lisa and Brendon Cole.

Local gun Neame (box two) takes out the first big feature of the night, winning the Ipswich Cup Consolation in 25.45 against a hot field of chasers for trainer Tony Zammit and owner Laurie Wode.

Cumbria Jack (box 8) returned to QLD with a bang, winning by eight lengths to book his spot in next week's $225,000 G1 Ipswich Cup. It was win 23 from 33 starts, in a CV that includes five track records and wins at Group 1, 2 & 3 level. What a dog!

Victorian chaser Dramatical - now in the care of Tony Brett - made an eye-catching QLD debut, winning a heat of the Young Gunners in 25.06 at Q1.
The Oz Cup winner made it 14 wins from 26 starts, and almost $400k in prizemoney.

HE'S BACK!
Gun sprinter Blue Blend (box five) shows why he's rated as one of the fastest greyhounds in the land after his near-record, 24.87 victory in the QGold Winter Sprint Final at Q1 yesterday.
It was only his second start and first win since November, 2025.

The Ken Burnett owned and trained chaser Blue Storm also had a trial in the lead up to the QLD Winter Carnival, stopping the clock at 29.63 in a handy trial at Q2 last night. He recently recorded a super 29.09 @sandowndogs in a heat of the G2 Launching Pad.

Easter Egg winner Off The Chart trialled a sizzling 29.29 at his first spin around the Q2 track last night. He's currently fave for July 4's G1 Bris Cup at $5 with @ladbrokescomau ahead of multiple track record holder Cumbria Jack ($6).
