@SeanBFlanagan@therealmissjo@Nigel_Farage@TiceRichard@reformparty_uk I happen to disagree with you. Lib Dem seat count is the reward for years of hard work. If Reform even exist as a party in 10 years time, you might have a point. I don’t see the Greens making the same fuss. They are making slow but steady progress.
@xtinexoop@TedUrchin@michelledonelan Labour candidate usually claims to have been in second place where I live, but history shows LDs occupying that place frequently. Can’t trust politicians. But never trust a Tory.
@b_smith46@RpsAgainstTrump Do you believe anything Trump says? He says whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear and photos tend to suggest more like 260 lbs
@electpoliticsuk Hard to imagine any Tory seat can truly be described as 'safe' if it's being used to try to parachute Boris back into Westminster. However would be delightful if this strategy is tried (preferably more than once or twice) resulting in additional LibDem MPs.
@SZaitschenko@BritainElects IIRC LDs held Bermondsey and Edge Hill for decades afterwards . Some seats didn’t persist in their hands as long as that, but they are pretty good at building relationships with voters
@GuidoFawkes I presume Guido is hoping that LD voters will believe his rubbish and vote labour to give the Tory a chance in the seat? Most likely outcome is a Tory lost deposit
@Tim_Burgess be fair, he may well be interested in our opinions, but one thing is for certain, he won't tale any notice of them if they do not match his own. It is typical of him to demand our opinions, rather than ask nicely,
@ecolitical@brianmoore666 Not sure even Donald Trump is defending him any more, but perhaps the pair of them have Alzheimer’s at similar levels of advancement?
@barnyskinner@pdfleet It doesn't matter what he says, CCHQ does not forgive a candidate who loses such a 'safe' seat. Don't bank on being a prospective parliamentary candidate come the next election.
@markpack How much longer are Labour going to persist with pushing their 'only Labour can beat the Tories here' message in every election they fight? It's gone beyond the mildly amusing and implausible to downright dishonest. Still, that's what the general public expect from politicians
@BritainElects How long until Labour tweet "only Labour can beat the Tories in Chesham and Amersham" thereby going a long way to guaranteeing a Tory hold?
